GameSparcs 2024 H1 Consolidated Financial Results
GameSparcs (6542) held a board meeting today (8th), where the Q2 2024 consolidated financial report was approved. The company reported consolidated revenue of NT$207,639 thousand for Q2 2024, with an operating income of NT$27,103 thousand, and net income attributable to the owners of the parent company of NT$37,286 thousand, resulting in earnings per share of NT$0.89. For the first half of 2024, consolidated revenue amounted to NT$432,575 thousand, representing an 11.82% increase compared to the same period last year, driven by growth in the Lan-based gaming business. Operating gross profit for H1 2024 was NT$346,853 thousand, up 14.16% year-over-year, with a gross margin of 80%, surpassing last year's level. Operating income for H1 2024 was NT$69,803 thousand, a 1.01% increase compared to the previous year. Net income attributable to the owners of the parent company for H1 2024 was NT$76,425 thousand, with earnings per share of NT$1.82, marking a 30.94% year-over-year increase.
Additionally, the 10,500 thousand private ordinary shares issued by GameSparcs in 2018 have met the conditions for public issuance. The board of directors also approved today the submission of an application to the regulatory authorities to complete the public issuance of these private shares and proceed with listing.
GameSparcs' online social game "Ace Club" is celebrating this summer's sports events with the launch of the "Olympic Guessing" event, running from July 25 to August 11, where players can showcase their intelligence and luck for a chance to win generous rewards. The evergreen RPG mobile game "Infinite Borders" has also launched a season live streamer competition during the summer break, continuing collaborations with four streamers—Bebe, Hui Ge, Awan, and Peiyi—who will lead players to achieve goals and enjoy a summer of fun together.
